Welcome to Fourth Church's Children and Family Ministry!
First of all, welcome! We’re delighted that you’re taking the time to get to know us a little better and, if you’re new, we hope that reading this helps you feel a little more at home in our church.
Children and Family Ministry at Fourth Church is primarily focused on working with children from birth through 5th grade, and with their parents as well. Although most people equate this with Sunday School (and that’s certainly a big part of what we do), our goal is to be more holistic: we want everything we do to be about growing God’s youngest disciples in community, through practice, with faith. That means holding events that build relationships between families, giving both kids and parents opportunities to live out their faith, and trying to make sure that both God’s love and message are imprinted on the hearts of every family that comes through our doors - you can read our entire mission statement by clicking here.
We’re admittedly not perfect at doing this. 21st century life moves fast and much of the time it feels like we’re playing catch up to our wider culture and all the influences that our kids experience on a daily basis. But we are passionate about growing God’s youngest disciples in every way that we can, and we hope that you and your family will come and grow with us!
