Sunday School
Our Sunday School program is designed for children ages three years old through 5th grade, helping them learn not just the fundamentals of biblical stories but the heart behind them as well. Classes are held on the fourth floor of the Gratz Center, with each class running concurrently with the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services. We do not require that your child be registered prior to attending class on a Sunday morning; however, we do ask that all visitors fill out a registration form upon their arrival.
During the first half of each class, children aged three years old through 3rd grade attend Children’s Chapel together for a short worship service in which kids sing both liturgical music and fun songs, along with receiving a daily message from Pastor Matt, taking a weekly offering, and having a chance to offer prayers to God. During the second half of the hour, each age/grade level is led by our wonderful volunteer teachers back in their respective classrooms. Kids have a chance to read that day’s biblical story, to see it brought to life in a video, and then participate in a craft or activity that reinforces that day’s lesson.
