In your small group, please discuss the following:
- Share your names, where you live, and your children’s names/ages
- These questions, though bizarre, are getting us warmed up for our video: What is one of your favorite guilty pleasures? What is a controversial opinion that you have? Does answering either of those questions make you feel uncomfortable – why or why not?
- Our video today talks quite a bit about the importance of vulnerability – First off, what does vulnerability mean to you? Where, if anywhere, do you see vulnerability being modeled in our world today?

- What do you make about Brené Brown’s thesis: that our connections are based on our own ability to believe that we’re worthy, and a willingness to be vulnerable? Why is vulnerability so difficult for many of us?
- Have you ever felt as though you weren’t being a good enough parent? Where do you feel like that pressure comes from?
- How have you felt when you’ve needed to talk about your faith in front of your children: do you feel the need to have all the answers, or are you able to be honest about what you know and don’t know?
