Devotion:  In the story, “Angels Visit”, Mary was told that she was going to have a baby named Jesus who will be the Son of God. Though Mary was scared and knew this would be a huge responsibility, she accepted the belief that anything for God was possible. Telling Joseph the news was also scary for Mary. He was upset at first, but after a visit from an angel telling him the big news, he gladly accepted God’s will.

Sometimes what God gives us can be scary and overwhelming. Sometimes we are surprised by what is expected of us in life. That’s why it’s important to always have faith in what God tells you. He will ALWAYS see you through scary times in your life.

Question: What responsibilities has God given you today? Did you get dressed by yourself or brush your teeth without your mom or dad asking you to?

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to find the time to hear your voice so I know your plan for me. Amen
