 Day 25 - Wednesday

Bible Verses: Luke 15:1-10
Spark Bible: The Lost Sheep and the Coin (p.378)

Devotion:   Do you have a special toy/friend that you take with you everywhere?  I had one named “Alice.”  She was a doll my mother made for me when I was 7, and with the exception of school, she was always with me.  One time, when we went to visit my grandmother, Alice was somehow left behind when my family and I returned to our home.  When I found out Alice was “missing,” I was heartbroken and could not sleep at night without her.  My grandmother eventually found Alice and sent her back to me, and when I opened the package and saw her there safely back in my home, I felt so happy and everything was right in my world.

Reflection:  Do you think God ever feels worried about us?  What can we do to make God feel happy?

Prayer:  God, thank you for promising to always come find me if I get lost.  Amen.
