Devotion: This story is about two sisters who invite Jesus into their house. Martha gets busy making a meal for Jesus. Mary, on the other hand, sits and listens to Jesus. She is so excited Jesus has come to the house she just wants to spend all her time with him.
Reflection: How about you? When you go on play date, would you rather have your friend be too busy making snacks for you or would you rather your friend play your favorite games and listen to your jokes and stories? Jesus is happy when we choose to listen and learn about his stories, talk to him through prayers and love each other.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, I love you. Amen.
